Those of us who have installed the Ford Remote Access App have had a rude awakening after downloading the new Apple iOS 11.
I recommend keeping a device on iOS 10.3.3 such as an old phone on wifi or an old iPad so you still have access at home or work until Ford gets their act together and updates the App. Hopefully they have not stopped support for this product in anticipation of the new Ford Pass in the 2018 models.
You can start the truck from the website once your logged in. I'll bet you could use safari on the iPhone, bookmark the page and start it that way. Without the app.

I still have ios 10.3 on my phone. my remote access is not working anymore. I get the error code 000110000, basically says truck is not receiving a good cell signal (not true). The module has an orange blinking light on it. anyone have suggestions or trouble shooting tips?

The same is being reported on another F_150 site. Chances are within a couple days we'll have a new app available. Not sure why they waited, they could have submitted the app as 64 bit anytime over the past 4 months when the warnings started appearing. Most of my existing apps have already updated for iOS 11 compatibility. Plus, Apple has been accepting iOS 11 app submissions for over a week.

I had it with my last truck but let the modules go when I traded. I received the warning on the phone a while back about the app not working when the iOS upgrade came.
Last time I looked on the App store, it seemed that it had been at least a couple of years since the app had been updated.
Don't have it with the new truck and am not sure if I'll buy the parts from Banner and do a self install like last time or not.
My remote access stopped working on the truck. I still had Apple ios 10.3.
I had not updated the Remote Access app.
The module had a slow blinking amber light going. I thought it was supposed to be gree
Anyway, the Remote Access app was updated yesterday. I downloaded it and tried to start the truck. No dice.
So this morning, I updated ios to 11.0. Just tried the remote access app. It works again
So, in order to have Remote Access work now, you need to have the most current software downloads

Well maybe not. truck started, but now the app wont communicate with the truck again??
