Inventer Off When Door Open

Inventer Off When Door Open
Noticed that when the door is open the Inverter is powered off, unless you press the brake pedel then the inverter powers up again.
Is there a configuration setting, maybe via Forscan to leave the inverter powered up even when the door is open.
All started when I plugged a trouble light into the inverter, everything worked until I open the door.

The plot thickens...
If I'm the driver seat, truck running, light on. (using 120v trouble light)
Open driver door, 5 sec latter - light off
Press brake peddle / door open - light on again (as long as I hold the pedal)
release pedal - light off
Close driver's door - light still off
Press brake pedal - light on and stays on
Reach back and open a rear door from the inside - light on and stays on.
I'm now wondering if some of the forscan changes are causing this behavior, like (police mode / secure idle). Just a thought.

This is going to bother me until a resolution is found.
I have difficulty letting go of this sort of thing, a personality defect I am constantly at battle with.
Reminds me of torturing my 2 boys 25 yrs ago when they were just kids. A couple of nights a week I would read a short story to them at bedtime from a book titled "100 Malicious Little Mysteries".
Each mystery story was just a few pages long and left the reader with the challenge of solving the mystery presented in the story. Rarely the boys solved the mystery right away. Other times I would let them think through the information, present possible solutions, then read them the actual solution in the back of the book.
If it had been a tough day at the office and I was in a particularly cantankerous mood I at times chose to make them wait until morning for the solution. On occasion they would creep downstairs after being put to bed begging for the answer. A great tool for stimulating logical thinking patterns for kids.
My personality defect has worsened with age, must be pay back for torturing the boys.
I have a King Ranch CCSB as yet without Forescan (that will change as soon as time allows). I'll run your tests and see what mine does.

OK, so I tried mine.
The only factor determining whether or not the inverter is on is whether or not the engine is running.
Engine on = inverter on
Engine off = inverter off
Full accessory mode = inverter off
Again, no Forescan on this truck yet, not sure if that is a factor either however.
