Never mind. I counted wrong, and the water neck does go through the manifold.

We're all confused. But that's why we're here. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery.

 

Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and call it a day.

It is in fact a 429/460. I could look at the casting numbers i guess, but it isn't that important right now. Overheating is. I know the manifold gasket is leaking, i can see bubbles coming from the front, so thats where I'll start.
