Part number for a '48-'50 is 7EQ2140. Probably the same for a '55 maybe. 1-1/2" bore.

The original number for the F-800 (except tandem) master cylinder, Model QH, in 1953 was TFAA 22141-A. It was changed to B3Q 2140-A which is also then correct through 1956. It might be correct for later years too, I didn't check those books. Neither of the numbers are found on Parts Voice. Bill might have other leads. Stu

Not sure if there is a difference but according to the Chassis Parts Catalog, a 53-55 Ford F-800 (code QH) non tandem axle takes master cyl. Part number B3Q-2140-A

B3Q-2140-A .. Master Cylinder / Obsolete

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
-------------------------------------------------------
A8Q-2004-A .. Master Cylinder Repair Kit-Use without Tandem Axle / Obsolete

1948/52 F7/F8 (Conventional) // 1953/56 B700/750 School Bus; F700/750/800/900; C700/750/800/900 Cab Forward.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has 1 = 607-722-5371.

MCDONALD OBSOLETE PARTS in Rockport IN has 1 = 812-359-4965.

Note: The kit fits all the above, the B3Q-2140-A master cylinder does not.

I try my best answer Darrell: Problem is most people go by say the Ford
part no. which is no good, all mfg. stamp their own part no. on a a part,
Ford did not mfg. master cylinders or wheel cylinders, these were from venders.
Most likely from the low bid, like Lockheed, Wagner, Bendix for example. Back to
my loader a 1964 Trojan. Its part no. is like 14 digits long worthless, Ford no.worthless Pretty sure it was a Wagner cylinder. I measured the thing and
some how I found Wagner web site with pictures. "bore, bolt hole dimensions" and
got their part no. went to Napa and had it after noon time. For giggles, I ask Steve
Napa with his computer, whats this fit? and he said you got the time? from IH Dodge
Mack Ford and a million fork lifts loaders and on and on. So yes the Ford number is obsolete, but does not mean the part is. just the Ford number is. Then when I got
it- identical to the F800 it now has a Napa p/n ? go figure, number games?
what ever you do, is not to go to Napa and say 55 F800 with a Ford number or a big
What !!! so go to Wagnor site or get a kid to do it LOL.....sam
