Universal Wiper Kit

I have a '52 F3, has anyone used one of the universal wiper kits on eBay?

I have the same question about this kit for use in my '53. It looks like a good deal? New pivots and you can mount the motor in the kick panel. So I will put it out there again, anyone use this in any application ford chev car truck etc? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Classic-Car...5aAeBx&vxp=mtr

I looked at the write up John did, the kit looks similar and came from Mid 50.

https://jniolon.classicpickup.com/wi...dwipers/pw.htm

The Mid 50 kit is a lot more money then the kits on ebay, maybe not as good? I see that the Mid 50 kit has a better looking switch. The price for the ebay kit is a fraction of the cost for the Mid 50 kit, and that's why I was wondering if anyone had given it a try.

The brand in that link you provided is from AutoLoc, most everyone on here has little good to say about them seeing as it's the Hoffman Group...

Either the kit is a Hoffman Group knock off or they purchased SPW. I installed the SPW kit in my 49 and am happy with the result.

The speed shop I deal with won't even order anything that is from the Hoffman group, I'm sure that kit is a copy of the SPW..

Looks like no one on this forum has bought one of these then? If I had an xtra $100. I might order a kit just to see what you get. I am not familiar with the Hoffman Group, but will take your word that they are not the best. The vendor selling this Autoloc kit does have some negative feedback.

If you don't mind using used parts those kits listed above are the same setup as jaguars .
I use them a fair bit in hotrods as they are very adaptable to most any vehicle .
And I reckon jag stuff is going to last longer than the after market kits .

I see that the MG Midgets use a similar set. What model Jags use these?
Probably a moot point as MGs and Jags are not common in Bone Yards in my area.
