I wouldn't get too excited about the current bid price as this was a 'two year money is no object' restoration. The truck looks to be very well done.

Does the truck have an F250 or F350 SRW front axle in it? I would think that the front wheels should match the rear. Very nice looking truck.

I hate to tell him this, but that ain't Meadow Green. It almost looks teal. It's a nice truck for sure, but that weird green kinda hurts my head.

I was thinking the same thing, it does have some teal color in there. Maybe it's the camera settings they used? If you look at the close-up of the hood and grille, the lighting is a bit different and it looks more like Meadow.

Beautiful truck and only a couple of hours from me.
Here is the dealers web site listing. I hate it when dealers don't list a price. I never have understood that. My guess would be he is asking $30k, but he could be asking a lot more, why not weed out people with a price.

I'm not overly fond of the seat. It just doesn't quite fit the feel of the truck.

Now, if I had a ton of money laying around, I would go get this.

About the color, I agree it doesn't look like a correct Meadow Green, especially in the photo Harrier posted above.

"One of 3,504 stake bed trucks Ford made in 1955." How do they know this? I'd love to know how many 1956 F500 trucks were made. Anyone know how to obtain that info?

That's a nice looking truck. Post up some more pictures. I'm not in the market for it, I just love seeing pictures of nice trucks.
Where are you located?

Yes , a nice looking flatbed. And the paint color ain't bad. Does it have a Ford script bed?

Lost your storage.... that's why I sold my 55 F350 last summer. I have a 1 car garage and my 54 F100 resides there. I rented storage space in the winter but I didn't want it sitting out all summer long.

More pictures please
