No intermittent and wipers won't park.

No intermittent and wipers won't park.
Well the title says it. 87 f250 is the truck. I popped off the motor cover and clean the contacts and also bent down the little tabs to apply more pressure. That didn't work. I plugged in a new motor and it still does the same thing. Ideas? Which wire should have power all the time for the park and intermittent? Thanks.

I had problems with my wiper control box twice on my '87. You will find it's tight getting it out.
What happened on mine is the jar the dash receives when the parking brake is released causes the soldered circuits to break loose. I re-soldered mine each time and fixed the problem with the wipers.
I fixed the jarring problem during the second solder job. I wrapped the control box with foam, then just laid it up behind the dash area on top of some other wires. No more problems for many years now.

Thanks tjc I'll pull the plastic on the dash and follow it. I've got to pull it and make a place for my mech oil pressure gauge anyway on the right where the wait to start and fuelfilter light is on the diesels.
