Wiring up manual glow plug switch

So I bought new silinoid and controller and if the truck is cold the relay will stay on and it will do what it supposed to do and heat the plugs and the problem is the relay clicks on and off when it's summer 95+ outside and it takes forever to start because it's not staying on I'm guessing that's the clicking so anyways I said screw it and started to do manually setup I got my wiring diagram from diesal hub So i followed this and i put a inline 30 amp fuse between the switch and the small terminal it connects to and im getting voltage on the silinoid side of the fuse but not the other side of the fuse so my manual switch aint working yet i also grounded to the frame if you want pics of my set up to help me let me know thanks

once the engine is over about 110 degrees the glow plugs are disabled.
the clicking relay is the controller applying power to the plugs for after burn to help the engine warm up, and is normal.
so i think your controller is working properly.

Ok so I got the manual switch to work and it fired up first try using it I will probably make where the controller controls the glow plugs and use the switch when I need to I only have it wired where it's running from my manual switch only because I know I have autocrap plugs still so that's why the gpc didn't work properly so imma get the right plugs next pay day you think the autolites will last for 2 weeks lol

i have seen the autocraps last months, but most of the time they burn out within one or two starts.
