Truck died as I was driving down the road now it won't start

hello everyone I have a 06 f350 with 140,000mile and today I was driving to a buddy's house and the truck died on me as I was doing 45mph so I towed it home and check the codes I have 1 low icp pressure and 1 low icp during starting / cranking and 1 ckp out of range I think that how it's worded so I looked at the icp pressure and it's 0 and the desired is around 1000 and the volt is .56 and as far as the ckp the rpm are reading so I don't know what to do about that ? Could the STC fitting and dummy plug and standpipe o rings really go out on me like this ? Or am I missing something ? Thank you for any idea

im also trying to track down a oil pressure gauge for the Icp fitting to check it

When you was cranking on it did you notice if the oil gauge in the dash moved any?

Unplug your ICP sensor and try to start it. Chances are good you have an HPO leak based on desired ICP and ICPV you posted. Any of what you mentioned are good candidates for the problem.

I unplugged the sensor and the icp and icp desired were reading the same plug back in and back to 0 I even switch it out with a known good sensor still the same 0 psi for icp. Could the IPR be not doing what the scanner is telling it to do when commanding it to close ? And build pressure that way leading it to be a bad IPR valve ? Thank you

You could air test through the ICP port and use a controller to trigger the IPR valve.

Or you could blindly dig into the STC fitting and check the IPR when it comes out, because STC is a much more likely cause of sudden death to a 6.0

Can you see the IPR % while cranking should be 84% if ICP is 0

What is weird is even with a blown STC or HPOP is should still make more than 0psi cranking IMO?

I would pull the IPR and go from there......

Any recent work done to the truck? very common for dirt or crap to fall into the oil and wreck the IPR and cause a stall no start condition-happened to me before. Good luck

I agree with the HPOP and stc fitting should give at least 10-50psi reading so I'm thinking the IPR is dead I'll check tonight and no there hasn't been any work done to the truck for dirt to get into the system
and yes I can see the IPR as I crank and it does get to the 85% and still reads 0 icp thanks for the help I'll let you all know tonight

My 6.0 died last Wednesday while driving and will crank and not start. I'm about to start pulling parts off this week. I'm hoping it's just the IPR, ICP or something other than an injector or HPOP issue. My SCT X4 is not reading any codes.

Here's a great video, your ICP will be on the passenger side valve cover, not on top under the turbo like the 2003.
