F1 DOES 3000 MILE EUROPEAN ROAD TRIP

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post...I'll post a few pics here and if i get told any where else to go ....We have just completed a 3020 mile road trip around a few countries and famous mountain passes..Had one issue with the truck(the start position on the ignition barrel failed) But thats what pipe pliers are for....RIGHT!!!!!!!.. And a plug or a lead is breaking down...Apart from that we had a faultless trip and returned 26mpg one day running on autobahn in Germany where there isno hills and you just sit at 70-75mph..Average fuel consumption over the whole trip i have yet to work out but guessing about 22mpg..We crossed 7 countries in all..France once Germany twice Switzerland once Italy twice Belgium once Holland once We also did a lap of the world famous Nurbergring in a very respectable 13.75minutes 20km. Wealso did a couiple of runs up a section of the world famous Reims F1 road track. We went oversome incredible mountain passes including one that NO F1 should ever be on it was single track with passing places and a weight limit of 2 tons.. Here are a few pics of our adventure..Starting in UK.. Then France, Germany,Switzerland, Italy, Back to Germany, Nurbergring, Holland,France, Back to UK..An incredible adventure in an incredible truck..

Wow great trip. Happy the truck ran so well. It is good looking too. I was stationed in Germany in 68 and took a similar trip in a Fiat 124 with 3 other GI's. Had a ball and we spent a week on the Riveria. Post more pics. You covered some beautiful country.

Wow, thanks for posting the story and pictures. You had the coolest vehicle there.
That Mini could have fit in the bed if it ever broke down...

That almost looks like the wire was cut... sabotage by jealous euro-car owners who couldn't keep up?!
