A/C compressor and mounting brackets...

Not too long ago, someone was looking for the brackets to mount a compressor on a 300/4.9L.

Dave,
Once again you'll have the benefit of my conversion to my custom Serp setup from my stock v-belt. I have those stock brackets and won't be using them in the future.

Luck you!!!

I have the PS figured out and prototypes are made. That's looking good, but I still need to mount the A/C compressor to determine how much of the Ford aluminum bracket can be cut away and still provide adequate support. As you know, I was hoping that the stock Alt bracket from a v-belt setup would work, and it would, but modifications necessary to move the Alt forward about 1.75" is probably more work than just designing and fabricating my own so that's where I'm headed next.
Also as you know, with our 111 deg heat index, not a lot gets done each day!

Oh I know it all too well as I work out in this heat.
That is also why, like you, not much gets done on my truck.
