Fuel Pump Replacement Issue 1949 F1

Hello all,
The fuel pump was leaking some gas so I bought a replacement and reinstalled it. Now the truck won't start. Is there a trick to reinstalling the pump? The arm on the pump seems to rest on top of the camshaft. Is this correct? Any and all help is appreciated!

Here is a picture of mine. It is a 46 "G" engine but is very similar except the shape of the arm. Actually an "H" pump with the "G" arm!
