6.0 odd whistle sound

Hello everyone, new to the 6 liter powerstroke recently upgraded from my 7.3. Recently this odd whistle sound started and I can't quite seem to fogure out the cause. At first it only happened if I was going 70 mph and now it will do it anytime it builds more than 15lbs of boost. I tried tightening some clamps and stuff but that did nothing.

I was gonna ask you if you owned an 03, but that is something I have never heard before. Did you check all the pipes? Almost sounds like a leak in one of the pipes, which would explain why it's getting worse as time goes on.

Is the turbo dusted at all? Spins freely with little play?

The truck is an 06, I never checked the turbo yet as I was hoping there were easier things it might be before I checked that

I don't have much experience so it sounds like a turbo issue. Any codes? Maybe take the turbo off and do a cleaning and check the fins?

I'm guessing exhaust leak by the turbo, either y-pipe, up-pipe, or downpipe

Do you still have the plastic cold side intercooler tube? Could have a crack in the bellows below the DS battery where it enters the intercooler.

Was everyone able to play the videos? Im not sure if that sounds like an exhaust leak or turbo issue to me... I tried looking at the boots and everything looks clean and I couldnt see any holes.

I couldn't play the video but when mine started making a strange whistling sound around 15psi depending on weather it was a cracked turbo y pipe. Had to pull the turbo to change it but wasn't too bad to do.

Would I be able to tell if it's cracked without removing the turbo?

Look for soot on the firewall or get an inspection mirror and look as close as you can to the bellows.

My firewall looks clean and I can't find any leaks. Is it possible it's a bad EBP sensor?

Is it throwing a code for the EBP?

The EBP won't make it whistle. You have a leak somewhere. Think of when you were a kid and made a whistle out of a piece of grass same concept.
