Max Tire size for 2016 f150 4x4

Hi everyone.

I have a 2016 f150 4x4 with a mammoth 2.5" leveling kit. What is the largest Tire size I can fit with this configuration?

Thank you!

That looks great! So you have a 2.5 level kit? Any rubbing? do you think 20s would change anything?

No rubbing at all... I will be honest though.... I will never hard core off road with it..it's been down gravel roads that were horrible...too much money ...that's what I have 4 wheel drive ATVS for..... I would think if the width is the same as 18s and hieght is no more than 34" it would probably work

Thank you so much for the information! Yea I'll never go hardcore offroading in my truck. I agree, too much money to go and beat it up. I have 32s now and with my 2.5" leveling kit, I know it's gonna look wierd without larger tires. Thanks for the information on this. I knew 33s could clear so I'm glad I know I can go to 34s. 35s would be nice but too much trimming is required.

I have a 2.25" level on my truck. I also have 295/70/18s. 34.3" and no rubbing anywhere. Keep in mind that most 35" tires only spec out at 34.5".

That's great to hear- I'm just glad I can go bigger than 33 without trimming. So if 35s cap out at 34.5 then what is your tire's actual height?

Thank you for your input- truck looks sweet!

Yea u just measured my tire and it was about 31" so I'll gain 2.25" which is awesome!
did you get a 5th tire for your spare seeing as it is a different tire size? Did it fit in the spare tire spot underneath the bed?

I'm somewhat interested in a response to this as well, but there are some threads floating around where this has come up and it seems like most (?) people running a 34"/35" tire just count on a tow if it gets so bad that a portable compressor, etc., can't get you to a tire shop.

(Note to self: still need to buy a portable compressor)

Yea I definitely don't want to do that at all. Here's a picture of my spare. There's just a metal sheet in the way that can be cut or bent back. But I'm curious what he did.

Yes, I also bought a matching spare and indeed it fits. Any larger and it wouldn't.
