Came out of the store this morning and tried to start my '06 F150 FX4 (66k miles on it). It started briefly and immediately stalled. I cranked it once, then cranked again for about 8 seconds with the throttle wide open and nothing. The starter spins fine. I turned the ignition off, waited a few seconds and tried again and it started right up, like normal - ran fine all the way home. I'm guessing fuel delivery and probably the early stages of a fuel pump problem. Could this be a failing pump or pump module?
Opinions please?

two main causes and you guessed them both.. Pull the module off first and look at it. If there is any corrosion or damage, I would replace that . If not, your fuel pump is a good guess.

To clear a flood condition it won't start floored . It is used to get oil flowing after a tear down also .
