PS = Power Steering?
Too much fluid doesn't make a pressure difference, just messy. If you have any air left in the system from the burst hose than it can cause the PS Fluid to spill out. Proper bleeding of the PS pump/steering box should remedy that. Is the PS whining when you turn the steering wheel? PS fluid foaming?

Thank you for your advices. And yes power steering.
Truck sits in the shop, but I'm wondering that a new hose and refill results in a mess.
We will have a closer look for proper bleeding. There was a Thread with a lot of repeated steps for bleeding just a few days ago...
There is a valve, is it called prv?, if it is stucked, can it result in a bursted pressure hose?
