Did you change Tires and/or Wheels? Post your info here

Lot of talk and great pictures of Leveled and Lifted 2017 Super Duty trucks.

If you've changed your tires and/or your wheels, please post:
* Tire size
* Wheel size & offset/backspacing
* Level kit or lift if you've done that
* Pics!

This will help those of us who are looking to do the same.

Thanks!

Stock wheel. Nitto ridge grappler 35X11.5R20. About an inch from rubbing so I could have gone 12.5.

ETA.. Now I remember why 11.5. The 12.5 requires a 8.5 wheel. Stock wheel is 8".
..

If your gonna haul or tow a lot then definitely the 11.5 is the better way to go. I won't haul or tow anything on the 12.5 with this truck it's my toy. I have another truck I haul and tow with so I went for looks on this one.

Why do you say 11.5" wide tire is better than 12.5" wide tire for hauling and towing?

Because 11.5 wide tire is designed with 8 in rims in mind Ford use and bases there tow / haul numbers on a 8 in wide rim and it requires certain tires with a certain load capacity to achieve there towing numbers. If you put a 12.5 wide tire on a rim that is technically to small for the tire then towing capabilities drop below design parameters that are apart of the truck when it's left stock.

I was curious who (vendors) are putting the 12.5 wides on stock wheels? The discount tire around me won't do it. Will Ford put them on? Wont you void warranty or any road hazard the tires come with?

Tires Plus did mine. Ford can void any of there factory warranties if they choose to on any truck that has been modified or changed from factory stock specs. That includes different wheel and tire size also. If you put in any fluid anywhere other than ford recommended stuff. It could void warranty. If they want to be ******. So I don't think it's any different for just changing tire size. I just like the look and it rides better then factory. But I'm not worried about it. But it a good point.

My guess is, if you mail order the tire and pay the local shop to just mount them, it alleviates the liability.

"Hey, we didn't sell him the tire. He just paid us to mount them."
