CAC boots
If a cac boot by the turbo is cracked and taped up would that be enough to cause a p0299 low boost code. The truck seems to make boost but I keep getting the code after clearing it. Rookie mistake, I thought it was a black hose at the turbo but turns out it was electrical tape. (I'm already kicking myself for missing that as I just bought it)
I also found a somewhat loose clamp coming out of the intercooler on the cold side.
I couldn't locate boots local so I cleaned and duct taped the boot at the turbo and tightened all the clamps. Still threw the low boost code after this but I was not being easy on it on purpose.

That's the kit I want to order but I'm going to try and get something local. With it already being taped up I just can't wait for international shipping. Once I have it sorted I'm going to do the riffraff kit including the cold side pipe.
I make good boost from 1800rpm and up it just seems to be hit or miss at cruising speed when RPM is low. Sometimes I can make boost while cruising at 60mph locked in 5th and other times it just won't make boost unless I kick it down.
