Today my filter showed up

I thought I was going to be able to install it in place of the cone filter, but noooo. This thing is massive. I have an Air head filter cold air system or something. I'm going to pull it off and the balance of the air box to install the filter. What do I need to install this filter? Its a Donalson B085011.

It looks similar to a 3357 filter? If it is then you will just need a piece of 4" metal tubing (to act as a coupling) and a couple of hose clamps. Plus removing your aol air box to make room.

I think it's the equivalent to the 6637 filter mod that has been popular here forever. You need to scrap the entire stock air box if you still have it and then get a piece of 4inch OD tubing. There are some PVC and CPVC couplers in Home Depot that will work or as Rikster mentioned an old piece of 4inch exhaust will work as well.

Yep. I went to an exhaust shop and asked for a short piece of 4" and they gave me a scrap piece. Works perfectly.

I used the pipe adapter for a while, but now i just use a wood rasp to roughen up the exterior of the plastic connection nozzle on the filter, and then I stretch the rubber intake tube over the plastic nozzle and clamp it tight.

Yes. Straight. 4" diameter, about 4 inches long.

Thanks
I went HD with my yoyo.
I picked up a coupler for 3" ABS?
It's OD is 4". I just filed off the tit and it was good to go.
I pulled off the top of the air box and the AirRaid adapter.
I zip tied the air temp sensor to a bracket about 1/2" from the air filter.
