Over 17,000 miles

Compared notes and realized that I've driven my bump over 17,000 miles in the last 12 months. That's more than any other vehicle in the family.

What about you and yours? How many miles does your truck see in a year?

I have only put on about 3500 in the 2 years since I got it road worthy. Well, I only put on about 1000. My son put on the other 2500.

At least once a month, I get in my truck and just go. I have a 64 with a 292 yblock, original Trans and my rear is stock. well upgraded from the 411 to a 3.00
My truck is far from stock, but it's a truck. I drive the hell out of it because I like driving it. My therapy for staying calm, "Is cruising."
Most people would leave their "Prized Possession" in the garage, for fear of accidents.
Why?
You built it,...... Drive It!!!!!
My tires cost a lot of money, why should I let them ROTT?????
Drive your truck like it was meant to be. Your happiness for the work you put into it, depends on it.
Sanity is all about enjoying,
think about it!!!!

As of now, I have my F250 and my motorcycle, so my truck gets around 12-15 thousand miles per year.

I was driving at least 70 miles a day from January through May. (Sometimes 100) It has dropped of significantly since then though. So I don't think I'll break 10 this year, but it's possible.

Less than 1,000 miles per year. My commute is only 10 miles and I have (too?) many vehicles. Hence, the "Fleet Admiral" moniker bestowed by JEFFAFA.

I racked up over 40k after the diesel conversion, I could actually afford to drive it then.
That truck won't get any more miles, though, but the engine and trans are waiting in the new chassis for another 40k.

Everything I've done to it has been to increase drivability. It rides nice, steers straight, and cruises wonderfully at 70mph.

I'm trying to recall exactly when I bought my '69 in 1988, it had 112K on it? It had 132K when I pulled the stock motor/trans out the next year. There wasn't a dry day that I didn't drive that truck. Gas was CHEAP back then.

Today, I hardly put a few hundred miles on any of the hot rods per year. Times change, lives change.

Boy howdy was I ever wrong! I'm at 20K this year!!!
