Anyone notice a Drop in Diesel Prices Lately

Diesel was selling around here (West Central Fla) for about $235.9/gal.
Today I noticed that it went down to $219.9 in my Neighborhood. Wish that I had a bigger tank.

I nearly fell out of my seat when I drove by one of our local stations and saw $1.94/9 for diesel! Needless to say I filled up, and wished I had an aux tank to fill as well. Most places around me are between that $1.94 and $1.99. It's been a long time since I've seen diesel less than $2.

Heading out of town last Wednesday (12-30-2015) hit the local Stripes and was surprised to see $1.88/gal. Almost ran back to the house to grab some of my 5 gallon cans! LOL!

Actually our prices just bumped up 5 cents to $2.349 on the 1st.
But then I'm in area that is usually 10-20 cents higher than some other areas. I usually get 6 cents off per gallon using my Maverick card and once a month save 70-80 cents per gallon off at the grocery story pumps on one fillup. I always make sure I'm as empty as possible for that one.

I just drove into to Salt Lake City and saw most of the truck stops were around $2.39 to $2.41 But large Semi's don't have the option of pulling into the cheaper gas stations.

Not as cheap as some of you other folks. But a whole lot cheaper than the guys California are paying.

The 5 cent bump was due to a new tax in Utah. Bummer.

Utah?s gas tax to increase by about 5 cents starting January 1 | fox13now.com

$2.259 in South Florida and my app says it is $2.269 or so in Alaska as well. Expensive compared to what everyone else is paying, but still NICE...
