I bought this 1973 F250 4x4 long bed in Scottsdale about 2 years ago. I have put a lot of time and money into it to make it a reliable daily driver. It has a FE360 Big Block and a 4 speed manual transmission with granny gear first. It has an NP205 transfer case that works great, this think will climb anything in 4 Low. It has Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 front both with 4.10 gearing. It starts up everytime and runs great. It has NO rust since it was a desert truck and spent all it's life in Arizona. It has original paint and a few dents/scratches but nothing a little TLC wont fix. I upgraded it to dual electric fans and a Newer Alternator with internal regulator, this thing can idle all day and not overheat, I have had zero problems with the engine and transmission. It needs some help on the wiring, it will turn the headlights off once in a while but if you turn them off and then on they will come back on. It needs a wiper motor, and the front windshield is cracked. It has dual tanks but only one is hooked up. I was daily driving this until I got a new truck. I have a clean title and current California registration. This truck never needs a smog check, It is ready to drive home today, and with some TLC it will be a great 4x4 rig. It has 35" BFG Mud Terrains on alloys, it is cleaned up and ready to drive home, I will include a bunch of extra parts like front grill, headers, and some suspension stuff, The first person with 2000 bucks gets it. I just installed a new stereo including cd player, 6.5" door speakers and 6x9" door speakers, all with fresh wiring. I also added a tach and water temp/voltage/oil pressure gauges. I don't really want to sell it but I need something more baby friendly and something my wife can drive. Thanks for looking.

The pic's are so dark I can not tell if she has grill inserts in her. Does it? The price aint bad. How bad is the seat and dash? Head liner? Door panels. A pic of the tail gate would be nice. I plan to be in SoCal soon. I am not just kicking tires here. I really would like some more pic's and info. It may well be my Son's first truck as we can't get anywhere on the 66 F350 without a shop. It you were closer I would give you the cash right now. Im im Virginia next to Tennessee line. We dont get old trucks that look that great in this area. They are usually eaten up with the rust cancer. I wonder how much it would cost to ship it across the country?

 

I know this is a kinda a weird question, but it is mechanically sound? What I'm asking is if I flew out to SoCal, would I be able to drive this back to Indiana? It's about a 2000 mile trip.
