ROTW no more?

All too familiar with "software upgrades" having a detrimental effect on the features on my electronic devices. The curse of technology I guess.
I know it was a lot of work and appreciate what the mods did to make it happen on a weekly basis. Hopefully at some point it will make a return but until then at least I can go back and watch reruns.

I'm a member of the Classic Rotary Phones Forum, and we have a "Find of the Month" competition, where we can nominate our favorite 'find' (either something we found or something someone else found) for the past month. At the end of the month, a moderator creates a poll with all of the nominations. After 10 or so days, the winner is declared based on the number of votes they received within the 10 days the poll was open.
In our case, we can nominate our favorite truck posted on this forum within the past month (doesn't actually need to be acquired within the month, sort of like ROtW) and vote based on that.
Along with the nomination, you would need to insert a link to the topic where the truck was posted.
I dunno, just my thoughts...

Awakening a dead forum here, but how much work would be involved for the moderators of this forum to ask people to post their nomination for ROTM and then lock the forum at a certain date and time, count all the votes in a day or 2, and then post the winner on the first of the month? That's more or less how I have seen it done. As BubbaJones said quite awhile ago, that's what third gen does basically. They even were making categories sometimes like the months ROTM will have to be all stock, or upgraded to the teeth, or a combo of the 2, or just in general, or best engine swapped, stuff like that. I'd be interested in it maybe even being in each sections individual forum as well.

Chopped and channeled 63 unibody
The tops of both fenders were cut and widened 2-1/2” to clear these wheels that have a much wider offset than the stock wheels Now the stock grill is way short If anyone would like to chime in on a grill design, that would be great
I had to stretch the roof back about 8” because my chest was rubbing on the steering wheel Originally the rear window would be almost at a 90 degree angle, but I thought it would ad some character to lay it down a few degrees The roof is the crown Victoria hood turn 180 degrees
Taking a selfie to show the roof in comparison to my height of 5’-9” so subtract about 14” with stock ride height of the crown victoria
To change a tire on the rear axle, the lower shock mount bolt has to be removed to gain a few extra inches needed to get the wheel off
I had to ad some 1-1/2” tubing bent to conform to the inside of the fenders, attached to the inside of the front bumper which is boxed in across the entire width The hinges are 1/2” plate I would estimate this portion was about two weeks to get it right, 12” hydraulic shocks will be used so I won’t need a hood latch

Thanks, go speedranger
5 months pretty much non stop on this one
So far, I seem to get this far and stop, since paint booth has been a storage facility since it’s conception
Several others in storage in about the same condition
more than likely I’ll die one day, then maybe someone will finish them
i remember the days when I did one at a time, start to finish

Copy the rear window outline and transform it to create the grill outline. Then use a simple egg-crate (horizontal and vertical aluminum slats) grill in the center. Headlight type and shape is up to you. With LED options you could make the headlights into narrow strips of headlights that disappear into the fenders when not in use..
