Great news, I was fixing to toss the rocker arm in a small box to take to UPS store to mail it back to Scorpion. I picked the roller rocker arm up and felt and heard a snap. no more play it has the proper 0.008" to 0.015" side to side movement. the snap ring wasn't installed in the groove it was close but not in the groove. Had to email Scorpion to notify them that I wont be sending it in as I found it was just a snap ring not fully installed. Didn't want to waste their time nor my time.

Now I am dealing with a transmission issue. I didn't think about it till just today. When I get done with my 306 build and I move on to my transmission, the changing of the planetary gear set to a wide ratio gear set for a lower first and second gear to help with pulling a load and either a 3.00:1 or 3.25:1 axle ratio swap it will most likely change my WOT shift point. Currently 2.75:1 axle ratio with a 31x10.50-15 tire over the oem P215 tire has me shifting out at 4,500 - 4,600 rpm when floored. Im afraid with this new setup the governor is going to have it shifting even sooner than that even though I really need to be having my shift point at WOT raised to 5,000 - 5,500 rpm since the cams powerband is 1,500 - 5,500 rpm with a 6,000 rpm redline.

Sent a email to Broader Performance down here in Texas where I will be getting my wide ratio planetary gear set from and asked him what is his recommendation on getting this 5,000 - 5,500 rpm shift point at WOT with the changes I have planned.

The cam's powerband is also dependent on the heads, intake and carb, plus the exhaust. What's advertised is loosely based on one engine build, the total package may add up to something else.

True. Intake is the plain Performer that is idle to 5,500 rpm so I can run a 1" phenolic spacer, carb is a summit 600 cm 4v, heads will be AFR Renegade 165cc with 58cc chambers for 9.5:1 compression. Exhaust is hedman shorty street headers with OEM flanges to use the OEM 2 1/2" y pipe out back to a single magnaflow round 3 chamber muffler with OEM replacement 2 1/4" tail pipe till I can have a 2 1/2" one made from stainless in the oem shape.
