Petition for a SOUTHERN Illinois chapter subdivision!!!

OK... I just went through all the pages of the "where are you" thread, and agree with a few of the other posters that we need a "Southern IL" chapter!

I was a member of the MO chapter due to my proximity to STL, but they went to crap when the chapter "president" changed out to a KC member.

I also know that for those in the deep south of IL aren't going to make a 7 hour trip on a regular basis to Chi-town or Rockford, ETC for group functions.

ANYONE????

OK...I founded this chapter years ago. I tried to establish a NORTH and SOUTH Region of the Illinois Chapter.
Hopefully THIS time it will work.

Ok.........here is your chance to change things members!

I moved each months meeting loaction to a new area to try to increase involvment.

There was a member who was willing to carry the ball for our down staters.

Speak up or lose out.

Hey IL members, you need to get a chapter leader who is willing to setup regions for the chapter, and then you need that regional leader to assist the CL with organizing the region.

most of the IL fte members are great, but every month it is really hard to set monthly chapter meetings and have a large turnout.
I worked with the past IL FTE Prez, Scott Listy, in a VP stance.

I def agree that two sections of IL is needed and welcome.

Back in Silver

Bobby,

I'm back brother. I'm back with a new nick though. I used to be classic auto detail. Had to change nicks and email could not get in with my old stuff for some reason. Anyway. Did anything ever happen with the Southern IL Chapter? I had to changed jobs and move away for awhile but I'm back now and ready to catch up. Someone update me if they can please. Where is the next meeting down south? I'm in Belleville.

I am about 45 miles east of St Louie.........in the Centralia, Mt Vernon, and Salem area.........

I have a daughter up in the Aurora area.......it is a 5 hour drive to get to her..........we dont just do a few hours or an overnighter......we take a weekend to visit and it still seems like we drive more than we are able to visit.....Illinois is just to tall of a state......

That's more like 60 to 80 miles

I work in Mt. Vernon and reside in an undisclosed secret location.

I live in Aviston, about 30 min east of the mighty miss. I have never done any type of meeting in any type of club but I'll try.
