First thing you need to figure out is why your cranking voltage is dropping so low.

You've done an excellent job of picking a handle.

The best and only advice I can give is take this poor vehicle to a dealer. Hand over the credit card.

Here's a link that might help:

https://oregonfuelinjection.com/serv...l-diagnostics/

Scroll down to the 6.0L no start...........

FICM SYNC (needs to say “yes” when cranking)
FICM L power (needs to be above 11.5 volts)
FICM V power (needs to be above 11.5 volts)
FICM M power (needs to be 45 volts or above)
ICP or injection control pressure, needs to match the ICP Desired reading.
IPR or injection pressure regulator (should not reach and maintain 85%)

Bought a battery charger today. Going to do all 3 batteries (Excursion battery was pulled for the truck) and give it a go in a few days once I can get the FICM plugged in ALL the way.

What r the readings for ICPV and IPR?
Have you tried holding the starter just a tad longer?
Are you getting 150 rpm?

Not sure what those are exactly, I'll check the Edge tomorrow to see if it's there.

Yeah. It just does the same thing over and over (not being sarcastic). It almost starts and then goes back to square one.

I'll ask it again for the others ...... are you getting FICM sync?

Also, you need to verify that you have Cam/Crank sync.

The above conditions, along with 150 cranking rpms (for a few seconds, not a fraction of a second), 500 psig ICP, sufficient battery voltage, and sufficient air and fuel and you should be starting (assuming you have good compression).

Does the secondary fuel filter bowl fill fairly rapidly (KOEO)?

Have you tried the bubble test (cranking with a half full fuel bowl w/ the FICM relay removed)?

Are you sure the air filter is allowing proper air flow (filter minder check)?

Getting any significant exhaust smoke on extended cranks?

FWIW, the SCT tuner does not read Baro or EBP (psi) correctly (at least it doesn't on my 2006). So don't get freaked out or think you need a EBP sensor without verifying that sensor with a different scanner (NGS, Dashboss, Auto Enginuity, etc....).

Edit: correction - I just went out & verified my readings with the SCT tuner. It does read Baro correctly. But EBP is still incorrect.

Your gonna need something else besides the SCT to verify FICM sync & Cam/Crank sync.

after rereading your first post I would go back to square one. You had a rough start but would idle with the old harness. Now a no start with the new harness. Might be a silly question, but have you gone over all the harness connections or tried plugging in the old harness again?

But you can check the ICP and IPR duty cycle with the SCT.

Top 2 gauges in the pic

Not familiar w/ SCT reading engine parameters, but the 03 has an inferred EBP so a code reader isn't going to read that PID. The 2006 is different, it does not use an inferred EBP.

Tried messing with her just now, and I can't find the ICP or the other thing I'm supposed to be looking for on my SCT. I am getting a code 21000 however. It doesn't seem like it's cranking more than about 250 RPM either, if it's supposed to be 500 it looks like I'm way off.

ICP pressure - 500 psig

cranking - anything over 150 rpm is fine.
