Rocker arm shaft location hole! Something every FE guru should know

I just got new STOCK rocker arm assemblies and I don't know which way the shafts go. There are oiling holes under each rocker and they can either go on the topside or the bottomside.

The guy I bought them from says they go on the bottom because that is the load side of the rocker which will take most stress and it will need the extra oiling. Very good point.

Can anyone verify this for sure? This is something every FE should know. Come on elders!

They do indeed go on the bottom. As stated, that is where the stress is. If, however, you switch to the Erson assembly it no longer matters. Just FYI.

Ok, done. My tapping sound is GONE. Now you can focus more on the sound of those pipes

I asked lots of people and no one knew which way those oiling holes went. So, this is just a good lesson everyone should know before they get in that situation.

And I told him I couldnt remember cause I run Ersons..

Of course this is my first FE build...LOL!!
