I've got a Magnetic CC LB. My toy hauler is dark grey with bright blue graphics. Since I couldn't get a nice bright blue truck to go with it, I'm wondering about adding a blue pin stripe to the Magnetic. Anybody out there added a pinstripe with any color combo? If so, how about some pictures. Just trying to get an idea of how it might look.
Pin stripes up high like that tend to look at little like Grandpa's "Buick Le Sabre" to most people. You might consider adding your color more strongly down lower on the belt line below the "6.7 Powerstroke" emblem on the door. This is the place where Ford puts them to break the two tone colors on the King Ranch trucks and it looks natural there. You can use a 3/4" - 1" stripe with multi colors like silver/blue to help out. There are websites that sell many different color stripes.
I hope this helps.
This is my father-in-law's F-150. It's a light silver stripe on a Ruby Red Platinum. I don't know if I like it or not, but it's definitely different. He bought the truck as a dealer transfer and they were installed by the first dealer as dealer added accessory.
These came on mine didn't request them but had to have the truck ferried in from another dealer out of state.
Sharp looking stripes. I am headed to a local artist soon to see what he suggests but yours are close to what I am looking for. Maybe a little flair at each end like a flight on an arrow rear and a slightly detailed point at the front. Since I am a grandpa I guess the stripe up high will be ok. That's where I want it anyway LOL.

I agree....those high pin stripes scream...I'm a Lariat "Cowboy" truck from the 80's. Might as well have a little barb wire swirl at each end...LOL....I kid..I kid...of course. It looks OK....but..... I also think...Like RJC2 above...that the pin stripe on these new solid '17s would look better down on the "break" where the two-tone would be. 3M makes a great stripe with several different widths to try. Pretty easy to do it yourself. If it doesn't look good....pretty cheap to just peel off and try another color/size.
