The green lines are the returns.
You can see how an air intrusion problem could be difficult to find, if it's hiding in the green somewhere.
It is counter intuitive, when you look under the hood, to suspect the return lines and fittings of being able to fart up the whole system with bubbles.
But, when you look at it like this, it's pretty easy to imagine.
There really should be a sticky on the topic of the "zero tune".
It's suggested over and over again, that the injector return plastic thinggies, dozen + O rings, etc. be replaced and still, there are air intrusion questions like this one.
(No offence OPs. Your questions are totally legit.)
I think it's because it's hard to get your head around (looking down at the actual thing) why and how air could possibly get into the supply side of the system through the return lines.
Maybe someone who is smarter then me could write up a quick "how to zero tune the IDI".

For the Injector Installation Kit installation You can follow Starmilts Humorous Fuel Return Replacement Procedure, I like to cut the 6 pieces between the Injectors to 4-1/16", Use a sharp razor blade to cut the hose and Vaseline to lubricate the o-rings.
For proper fuel system bleeding you can use steps 1 through 4 and 13 through 15 of the Fuel Filter Replacement.
