When you live on the river full-time, it takes something special to make it better for a holiday weekend. We bought a party barge last week, spent Fri. evening getting it ready for the summer. Sat was spent visiting some of Micki's folks who were in from south LA, Sun was a lazy day because she was gone to a baby shower and Mon. was spent pretty much cruising the river on the barge 
Temps and humidity are getting a little rough down here. Central A/C is on the fritz, think I need a new compressor
About midnight Sat the pulley decided to come unwound on my attic fan, so Sun. morning found me in the attic with bailing wire tying a pressed steel pulley back together to make a few days until I could get a new one. Gonna change the capacitor on my central unit this afternoon and see what happens. My neighbor gave me a used 4 ton unit, but I almost fell out when I priced a 30# jug of R-22 freon this morning, almost $600 
I think it will have some sort of replacement refrigerant in it when I get done.
