Could be from a cooler leak and could also be rust residue from worn out coolant. You don't give enough info for a good answer. You don't even state what type/year truck you have, mileage, mods etc. Crystal ball is out of order today.

\...and how many miles on this coolant????? You really ought to get a filter put on there..... now, after a flush and fill. On yours, I'd back flush it first. A search in this forum will yield you how to do that.....

Sounds like it may not have been flushed good enough if only 15 min. on it.

What 69j said ^..... 15 min isn't near enough time to do a flush. After replacing all the components you did, you really rushed one of most important jobs at the end..... I would just "bite the bullet" and do a really good back flush before you contaminate the whole job you just did.

15 minutes was the run time not the flush time....Had mechanical issues before I could get a true flush done.....
