I have a problem with the driver door. The door will not unlock with either the key fob or the manual key. I took the inside panel off and found the rod that will allow unlocking (it has a small yellow plastic part attached). If I lift up on this rod the problem is resolved.
I also found a small broken spring inside the door. I am thinking this is what holds tension on the rod. I am unable to find where it would attach and if it could be done without taking to ford. HELP AS THIS IS MY WIFE'S VEHICLE. Thanks, Gerry
