1x Green T10 Turn Signal bulbs, 9 SMD LEDs ebay item # 282280538869 (sold as pair) - might be too bright, but only one way to find out!

So as you can see above, my LED order came in from Yitamotor on eBay.com. Total cost for above LEDs was $65, $15 for shipping, makes a grand total of $80 to have full LEDs in my truck. Not bad, but his communication was terrible. Took 4 full weeks of emails back and forth because his english is really bad.

Another 4 weeks later, and my LEDs arrived.

Moving on.

Purchased a nice Hydroboost unit and master cylinder from a local fellow. Came from a 2009 F250 Superduty. Unfortunately, the high pressure lines did not come with, so I will have to get those fabricated.

Really clean unit. Only 120,000 kms (I was told).

Time to park the truck (temporarily) for the winter. Even though it was tucked away, I still made time to work on it on December 23

Now for some fun! Worked on installing some LED lights in the truck.

Now, I know what some of you are thinking... didn't I complain about bright lights in a post above? The answer is yes... but these are tail lights, not headlights.

Hopefully they're bright enough that no one ever rear ends my truck (knock on wood).

Nothing worse than having your hard work crushed by some inattentive driver.... these red tail lights are my best aim to "stop" others (pun intended - LOL).

A shot against the garage wall before finishing up for Christmas Supper.

Tail light switch (under-dash switch) ordered. Noticed that I couldn't get my tail lights to brighten when I hit the brakes. More electrical fun to come.

I ever worked on my truck over Christmas holidays. The fun never stops

Took my OEM Keys with me to the GF's place in Lethbridge. Her dad owns Active Lock and Safe. It's the only shop in town, and they've been running it for 3 generations now. Wonderful service, and not just because I'm dating his daughter

OEM key and 2 new keys for the ignition on the key ring. The smaller keys also got copied (4 smaller keys in total for my gas tank). Gotta have spares around just in case.

OEM cylinder taken apart, cleaned, given new tumblers and a new cylinder cap. The parts/pieces on the work mat are the OEM (and dirty) tumblers, springs, and cap.

The plate on the work mat is for checking the bumps/valleys in your key to see which tumblers you "should" have inside your cylinder. If the key doesn't quite fit into one of the 5 Ford slots, your key has been worn down or the tumblers inside might be too.

A shot of several hundred tumblers and their size chart above.

This is a very small portion of what Active Lock and Safe can do. They've got some pretty cool antiques in the shop, brand new technology, and everything in between.

If you're in southern Alberta, go see Mark and Dave at Active Lock and Safe for all your security needs. There's a reason they're the only shop left in town.

That's all for now folks!

Parts have been ordered and they're slowly arriving. More upgrades/progress to come when it warms up.
