In the 2000 expy, you will need a FM modulator to install. Unless you upgrade to the 6-cd indash reciever. Does your DVD have a pigtail on it? If not you have to cut the connector off and splice onto it.

Wiring for DVD player at the playeris as follows. This is for the 12 pin and not 20 pin style DVD. These are the wires in each pin number and factory color on pigtail. If no pigtail all but one wire will be white.

#1- RD/YE- 12V+ BATTERY
#2- LG/BK- AUDIO SYSTEM ON
#3- LB/RD- ILLUMINATION POWER
#4- BK- SHIELD
#5- WH- SPEAKER LEFT+
#6- RD- SPEAKER RIGHT+
#7- LB/PK- AUDIO CORPORATE PROTOCOL A
#8- TN- AUDIO CORPORATE PROTOCOL B
#9- BK- GROUND
#10- BK/LG- GROUND
#11- SPEAKER LEFT-
#12- SPEAKER RIGHT-

NOW IN MORE COMMON TERMS,
#1- CONNECT TO POWER SOURCE HOT AT ALL TIMES
#2- CONNECT TO ACCESORY WHEN IGNITION ON(OR ON BACK OF RADIO,LG/BK IN 20 PIN CONNECTOR)
#3- CONNECT TO ILLLUMINATION WIRE FOR LIGHTS AT NIGHT
#4- NOT USED IF USING FM MOD.
#5- SOLDER ON A RCA PLUG ONTO #5 AND #11
#6- SOLDER ON A RCA PLUG ONTO #6 AND #12
#7- NOT USED IF USING FM MOD.
#8- NOT USED IF USING FM MOD.
#9- #9 AND #10 CONNECTED TOGETHER AND TO VEHICLE FRAME

The illumination wire can be tapped into one of the harnesses on the rear ac controls when you remove it. The power and accessory can be tapped onto wiring of radio, power -lg/vt at radio and accesory as above. You need to run a rca cable along with the power wires over to radio and connect to the fm mod. I would use a noise block on fm mod to eliminate any interference.
