Thought I'd post some pictures of carpets in my Ranger after the seats and console have been removed. I haven't pulled them out yet other than the carpet over the gas tank. I'm guessing they haven't been pulled before other than around the inside edges of the front carpet for speaker wire. I should try cleaning them, but I think it is probably hopeless. The A/C or something leaked on the drivers footwell area and, well, that's not all as you can see. Close up is of the clean area under the console.

So, any guesses what is under the carpet? Is it stock? Anyone know what should be there?

Sort of cool old school add-on step in the door jambs.
