ArcticYblock has posted instructions on how to post a picture in a thread, but it goes something like this:

To post pics, the "insert image" tool needs a link to a picture that is posted somewhere on the internet....it can't be a link to your hard drive. Accordingly, prior to inserting a picture in a thread, you need to post your pictures to some web site that is "always on". The favorites around here are to use Photobucket, or, use the album feature here on FTE.

Here's the steps:

Click on your profile, and create an album. You'll be able to upload three pics at a time, but the maximum picture size is 1024x768. Most cameras produce a larger image, so you may need to use a photo editing tool (like photoshop) to adjust the image size. Smaller is OK, but it won't allow you to upload bigger images.

Next...after the pic is posted to the album, look at the web link (http) address & copy that link.

Now...go to the thread that you want to insert the image in....click the "insert image" button (yellow square with the mountain and th sun). It'll ask for the http link. Paste in the link you copied while looking at your album.
