cracked block

hey I came across a 72 302 with freeze cracks on the sides. I've heard of people using JB-WELD...could that be the ticket or is the engine junk?(no water in oil) thanks for any thoughts or advice..

Don't forget... after you gravity bleed, pump your pedal very slowly to create nipple pressure. Pumping like crazy can produce foaming bubbles
