My 95 inline6/m50d pulls my 76 dodge powerwagon to mud bogs without any problems and it hauls the occasional load of steel over the scales. Itll pull just fine as long as your not in a hurry.

I went the cheap route on my 4 banger and put on a cherry bomb glasspack and ran pipe before the rear tire. Gets a little loud when i punch it on the freeway but theres not much packing left if any.

I run motorcraft fl1a with valvoline 10w30 all year round. Gets a little crabby at -20 but i only use it to haul loads nowadays. Might switch it to maxlife next change depending on price.
