if your wanting an aftermarket guage, just check the ohm range of the new unit and make sure you get a guage of the same...

make sure you get the block for the high mount...

make sure you get the block for the high mount starter. somewhere in the early 80's, ford had 200's with the low mount starter and the wrong bellhousing pattern.

144-200 will be a direct bolt in. 170-200 both...

144-200 will be a direct bolt in. 170-200 both have 5/16 oil pump shaft, so you can install electronic ignition in them faiarly easily. and do it with ford factory parts for ease of repair later on....

about all of the shifter manufacturers make...

about all of the shifter manufacturers make automatic floor shifters for that.

also if you change the shift shaft in the tranny, you can use a factory shifter.
