FWIW, I have the Ranger OD in my COE behind a mildly hopped up 300. This is a fairly heavy truck on a dually one ton chassis. I haven't weighed it, but I'd guess 5k at least.
The Ranger works great...

That is how I learned....by watching, listening, reading then just diving in and trying. As for having more time....I do this for a living, this is a customer's truck so I need to keep moving on it....

You will need to press in the sector bushings and then have them reamed for proper clearance. The fit is critical to a tight steering box and should be done by a competent machine shop.

Side shot. There are a lot of conflicting angles going on here, and the rear door window looks huge. I see now why many of these have shortened doors or a massive B pillar.
