spline count

I have a 79 4X4 f-150 w/ 351 m c-6 205. I just need to know what my spline count is for my 9 inch trying to buy gears and a locker but dont know if its a 28 or 31 spline? Help?

Well I figured what ever was on the last holley...

Well I figured what ever was on the last holley carb as far as accessories i would adopt onto the new holley like the electric choke. Thanks good info

Have a quick question. This is my first older ford that im actually doing work on.
I have a 1979 f-150
351m c-6. Just bought a new holley 600cfm carb for it. well I was reading the instructions...

transfer case pattern

I just got a 79 4x4 351m c6


I dont know where 4hi,4lo,2wd,n are on the transfer case it doesnt have a nob and never dealt with a older ford

I just need to know the order you know like all...

want to know if the 9" rear is a 28,30,31 spline its all stock

Plus i want to put 4:56 in.
Do i have to get different carrier?
