I've heard some back reviews about being bent or taking a lot of weight to balance. Wheelsmith has a better reputation and I believe the powder coater they use is next door.

I dislike most new gauges now, most are made overseas (even Stewart Warner). All the gauges I use now are old made in USA types (mid 70's and older SW) mechanical and electric.

Where are you near, down here you could try Collins wheel in Bellflower. They sell used cheap wheels, good selection, nice guys and will make custom sizes.

Have the original locks re keyed or get keys made from the lock numbers. The only replacement for worn out original parts are NOS parts. Sadly overseas parts are 90% of what is out there.
