I'm guessing valve guides that rusted up from sitting so long. Yes - do valve stem seals while you are there and no - you shouldn't need to lap the valves.

I don't think it will hurt resale of the 6.2 trucks too much, probably knock 6.7 resale just a little bit as more people might be willing to try a big gasser instead of a costly diesel.

No way is Ford going to offer the 6.2 in more F150s IMO. Be glad they offer a V8 at all!

I'm hoping for 425HP / 535TQ in the new 7.3. There should be a TON of potential regardless if initial...

I would not worry too much about it. Tim Meyer makes special cam bearings to help keep oil where it's needed most, this is an excellent place to start since you'll be putting in new cam bearings...

it it really depends on how much power you're looking to make. Even the later 400 heads with the huge water jacket around the exhaust valve are a decent head, probably good for 350...
