The 51/52 serial #'s really don't need any further dissection to get the info, and the changes were pretty minor. I believe each plant did their own numbers, I can't recall seeing a number higher...

8 = '48
8R = V8
C = F-1
(here there should be an assembly plant code, 2 letters)
52981 = consecutive production number for that assembly plant

No clue on...
