You could solder a brass washer to the connector under the flange. Just slipping a brass washer on the connector under the flange wouldn't hold the wire down, but it may still work just fine.

They don't press down very much. I think mine only moves about an 1/8". They are not as springy as the earlier trucks and cars with the big coil spring under the horn button.
