to get the tongue weight you have to look at the total weight carried by the truck. So add the front and rear axles for both loaded and unloaded, then subtract the difference....

i would not expect any measurable change in power or economy by changing the spark plug gap a few thousandths.

in theory, a wider gap can make more power because it takes a hotter spark to jump...
