So far it's been a great car. Lifter noise went away after first oil change. Decent mileage, starts great all winter, comfortable .... great all around. Theres a little coolant disappearing somewhere...

the plug is on the side of the actuator controller. UnderNeath I think. I remember it being hard to take off without a screw driver.

Yes there are fuel additives to prevent gelling, I've just never used any. -40 and even colder hasn't caused any issues with regular 15w40 and pump fuel.
