Those just fit into a rubber grommet in the valve cover, should pull right out. Remove the actual PCV part, clean if off and blow through each side. A good PCV will only flow air through one...

I'll stick with my 245's since they'll be Michelin LTX's E-rated. That's been a good brand for me, the size pretty perfect too.

Good to know----making sure the axle pivot and radius arm bushings are up to snuff would be a good idea too---I replace those with urethane parts.

Since I already run 245/R16-75 tires on my E350...

Were the plugs Motorcraft brand? If they were and you used the plugs spec'd for your year/engine there shouldn't be any issues at all with them lasting upwards of 100K miles. I don't let my own go...
