It's more than you want to tackle. You have to set clearances on both the ring and the pinion gears. That is a pain in the you know what.

Thanks for the info, but they don't have them for the Rangers. They only have for F150 or Expedition.
I found new coils at Rancho that come with alignment bushings. I think I'll go with them...

Yep, they gotta history. Far as I can tell once they get about 100-120 thou on them they start to rattle.
Other than that I have had no problems with either of mine.

My 96 XLT Ext Cab does not have the wiring either. I was wanting to do same so I went out and checked , but no wiring. Bummer!

I would get a Haynes manual and look it over if you have any doubts about doing it yourself. It's not that hard , just kinda time consuming.

It is for the set of two. I just converted mine over about a week ago on my 96 Ranger. I went thru two sets of auto hubs and finally had enough.
