Put a meter on the solenoid wires and see if you are getting the voltage when you step on the brakes. If not, you'll need to get an electrical drawing that shows where the power comes from.

If you can, burn it off. If not, I vote for a good old, nice sharp gasket scraper. Using them for that for 40 years. Just be careful enough to not gouge the aluminum.

I'd stick with Timken, Moog or OEM (which is a Moog white box OEM unit) and shy away from the cheapie far east no-name knock offs. Heard of too many no name knock offs failing prematurely.
